827 FZUS63 KMKX 270259 GLFLM OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 859 PM CST Wed Nov 26 2025 FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan. Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Low pressure of 29.3 inches will continue east into northwestern Lake Huron this evening. Very strong southwest gusts will continue across the lake into tonight. Storm force gusts continue over the southern two thirds of the lake, with high end gales more likely over the northern third of the lake. Storm force gusts will then likely ease to high end gales around midnight tonight, and gales will continue through Thursday and into Thursday evening to early Friday morning before subsiding over the lake. Light westerly winds will set up across the Lake Friday night and turn to southerly by Saturday morning.
