FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Broad high pressure around 30.4 inches lingers along the Mid-
Atlantic coast as low pressure around 29.6 inches over eastern
North Dakota strengthens to 29.4 inches and lifts northeastward
into Ontario tonight into Sunday. Expect southwesterly winds to
continue throughout tonight, becoming southerly into Sunday
afternoon and strengthening to 25 to 30 kt. Gales are possible in
the northern third of the open waters, with a Gale Watch in effect
from 5 PM CDT Sunday through 2 AM CDT Monday. Winds will diminish
and change to northwesterly as a cold front pushes north to south
across the lake late Sunday night into Monday. A few thunderstorms
are possible with this front. High pressure around 30.4 inches
then settles in Tuesday and Wednesday.
