868 FZUS63 KMKX 180854 GLFLM OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 254 AM CST Tue Nov 18 2025 FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan. Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Low pressure of 29.7 inches over northwestern Missouri will continue to move east early this morning. East winds will slowly increase through this morning. The breezy winds will become northeasterly over the southern half of the lake as the low moves into the Ohio River Valley this evening. Winds then ease Wednesday as high pressure of 30.3 inches moves over the lake. High pressure exits into Thursday morning, with winds becoming southwesterly as a low pressure system progresses eastward across northern Ontario. A cold front from that low pressure system will shift winds to northwesterly overnight Thursday into Friday.
