828 FZUS63 KMKX 110252 GLFLM OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 852 PM CST Mon Nov 10 2025 FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan. Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... A band of lake effect snow continues across portions of the eastern shore of Lake Michigan this evening, with isolated waterspouts remaining possible. High pressure of 30.6 inches will continue to slide southeastward through Texas toward the Southeast U.S. tonight, while low pressure around 29.4 inches continues off the New England coast. Expect continued northwesterly winds into tonight, before winds shift southwesterly overnight into Tuesday. Another low pressure system will progress into northern Ontario on Tuesday, bringing a warm front across the open waters and producing southwesterly gales Tuesday afternoon and evening. A Gale Warning is in effect for this time frame. Winds shift northwesterly into Wednesday morning as this low progresses into the eastern Great Lakes region. Winds may briefly approach gales again Wednesday morning into Wednesday afternoon. Lighter winds expected Thursday as weak high pressure moves through the region.
