749 FZUS63 KMKX 230255 GLFLM OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 855 PM CST Fri Nov 22 2024 FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan. Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Breezy northwest winds will diminish into Saturday morning as low pressure of 29.3 inches slowly fills off the coast of New England. Winds will become light and variable Saturday night into Sunday as high pressure of 30.2 inches builds into the Mississippi Valley. Southeast winds increase again later Sunday low pressure around 29.7 inches develops in the Plains and moves eastward. The low will move through by Monday night, bringing breezy west to northwest winds Monday night into Tuesday as the low deepens to 29.4 inches over the eastern Great Lakes region and high pressure of 30.4 inches develops in the Plains. Weak high pressure then becomes dominant midweek into the weekend.
