FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.4 inches over the eastern Great Lakes will
continue to gradually shift eastward today ahead of an approaching
low pressure system. Breezy south to southeast winds will persist
into tonight between the departing high and approaching low.
Rounds of showers are expected tonight into Sunday as the low of
29.6 inches moves through, crossing the lake Sunday afternoon. A
few rumbles of thunder will be possible with the showers tomorrow
afternoon. Breezy westerly winds will develop behind the trough by
later Sunday afternoon, eventually becoming northerly by later
Monday as a cold front swings through the area. A few gusts to
gale force are possible in the north on Monday.

.SUNDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 20 kt veering to southwest.
Chance of showers in the morning, then showers and slight chance
of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally
to 8 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt. Chance of showers in the evening. Waves 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.MONDAY...West winds to 30 kt becoming northwest gales to 35 kt.
Chance of rain showers. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...North winds to 30 kt becoming northeast 10 to
20 kt overnight. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft subsiding
to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TUESDAY...East winds 10 to 15 kt becoming southeast 10 to 20 kt.

early in the afternoon, then becoming west to 30 kt late. Slight
chance of showers and drizzle in the morning, then chance of
showers in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft
building to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...West winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft.
