FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.7 inches will move northeast across southern
Lake Michigan Monday morning, continuing northeastward into Quebec
and deepening to 29.5 inches Tuesday.

As the low approaches, expect east to southeast winds to increase
to roughly 20 kt tonight. The southern half may observe a brief
period of light and variable winds Monday morning as the low
crosses over, followed by northwest winds with gusts to 30 kt in
the afternoon and evening. For the northern half of the lake,
east to northeast winds linger a bit longer, turning northwest
with gusts to 25 kt Monday night.

Gusty northwest winds linger into Tuesday, backing due west and
decelerating late. Modest north to northwest winds expected
Thursday through the end of the week as high pressure builds to
30.7 inches over British Columbia / Alberta and weak low pressure
lingers over eastern Canada.

morning, then veering to west 15 to 25 kt early in the afternoon
becoming northwest to 30 kt late. Slight chance of rain in the
morning, then chance of rain in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 ft
building to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt becoming west. Waves
6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft building to 8 to 11 ft
occasionally to 14 ft.
.TUESDAY...West winds to 30 kt. Waves 8 to 11 ft occasionally to
14 ft subsiding to 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
