FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.0 inches over Iowa will push eastward into
the Great Lakes region today, extending from southern Quebec down
into the southern Plains by tonight. Low pressure of 29.4 inches
will develop over the High Plains on Friday which will increase
the winds out of the south going into Saturday before a cold front
tracks across Lake Michigan from north to south on Saturday. High
pressure of 30.2 inches will extend down into the western Great
Lakes from southern Manitoba on Sunday. Going into early next
week, it looks like broad high pressure of 30.3 inches will setup
over the eastern Great Lakes as low pressure of 29.5 inches
develops of southern Manitoba. This will cause an increase in the
winds across Lake Michigan, possibly to gales.
