Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Southeasterly winds expected through tonight as high pressure of 30.1 inches lingers over the Northeast U.S. Southeasterly winds increase and become southerly into Saturday as low pressure of 29.7 inches progresses eastward across Lake Superior, bringing a cold front southward and shifting winds to northwesterly late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Scattered thunderstorms are expected ahead of and along this front. Winds will turn northerly Sunday night as high pressure of 30.1 inches builds into southern Ontario. Northerly winds will linger through Monday before southerly flow returns on Tuesday.
