Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Lighter westerly winds expected today as high pressure around 30.0 inches moves across the southern portions of the Great Lakes into Monday. Southerly flow then returns to Lake Michigan on Monday as the high pushes further east. Increasing southerly winds are expected Tuesday through midweek as a low pressure system develops across the Plains and move across the Upper Great Lakes Wednesday into Thursday.
