...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT AND
NORTHWESTERN ELKO COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM PDT...

At 707 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 17 miles northeast of Paradise Valley, moving north at
20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
McDermitt, Paradise Valley, Paradise Hill Summit, and Chimney Dam
Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
