...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT AND
NORTHWESTERN ELKO COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM PDT...

At 315 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 31
miles northeast of Paradise Valley, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rainfall along with gusty winds could knock down tree
         limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage
         to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Humboldt and northwestern Elko Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
