...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT AND
NORTHWESTERN ELKO COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM PDT...

At 810 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles northeast of
Paradise Valley to 36 miles north of Midas to 29 miles west of
Owyhee. Movement was north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rainfall along with gusty winds could knock down tree
         limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage
         to vegetation is possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Humboldt and northwestern Elko Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
