...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ELKO AND CENTRAL
EUREKA COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM PDT...

At 204 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles south of Pine Valley, moving southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rainfall along with gusty winds could knock down tree
         limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage
         to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Elko
and central Eureka Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
