* WHAT...For the Blowing Dust Advisory, visibility between
  one-quarter and two miles in blowing dust with wind gusts to 35
  mph. For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 90.

* WHERE...Humboldt County.

* WHEN...For the Blowing Dust Advisory, until 9 PM PDT this evening.
  For the Heat Advisory, until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility.
  Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be ready for a sudden drop in visibility to near zero. If you
encounter blowing dust or blowing sand on the roadway or see it
approaching, pull off the road as far as possible and put your
vehicle in park. Turn the lights all the way off and keep foot off
the brake pedal. Remember, `Pull Aside, Stay Alive`.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
