UNTIL 8 PM PDT SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...High temperatures 97 to 102 degrees expected in the valleys.

* WHERE...Northern Lander and Northern Eureka, Northern Elko, South
  Central Elko, Southwest Elko, and Humboldt Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, from 11 AM PDT this morning
  until 8 PM PDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from 11
  AM PDT Saturday morning until 8 PM PDT Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, remain out
of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
