Please contact National Weather Service Elko if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION...Elevated fire weather conditions continue for fire zones 438, 469, and 470 as there will be a low 10% chance for isolated dry thunderstorms Sunday afternoon and a low 10% to 20% chance for isolated dry thunderstorms Monday afternoon. With the best possibility of seeing a storm being along the NV/OR and and NV ID border region. The main hazards should storms form will be gusty erratic outflow winds up to 45+ mph and ground lightning strikes. Outside of storms winds will be lighter Sunday afternoon out of the southwest at 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph possible. Winds Monday will be a bit stronger at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph possible. Temperatures will range in the middle 80s to mid 90s for highs, dropping into the mid 50s to mid 60s overnight. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny (5-15 percent). Haze in the morning.
