.DISCUSSION...Strong winds behind the cold front that passed through
the region on Thursday had prompted the extension of a Wind Advisory
for northern Nye County. Sustained winds of 23-29 mph with gusts
into the 40 mph range may aggravate fire behavior on Friday and
Friday night. Saturday winds will relax back into the 13-20 mph range.
Shower and thunderstorm activity is not expected through Saturday.
