.DISCUSSION...With storm activity being out of the forecast for the
foreseeable future the focus continues to be on the extreme
heat over the area. While temperatures at higher elevations will
be in the 80s tomorrow, areas downslope of the fire closer to the
valley will approach 100F in the afternoon potentially causing
health issues for fire personnel. Daytime wind flow over the fire
continues to be out of the west-southwest with light wind speeds
through the day.
