.DISCUSSION...Strong winds continue during the day and dissipate to
calmer winds by the afternoon with cooler temperatures over the
region from the passing cold front. A brief reprieve from the
active weather as lingering showers from the passing cold front
dissipate this afternoon with more active weather returning
through the upcoming weekend with temperatures gradually getting
cooler.
