...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
JACKSON COUNTY THROUGH 245 PM CDT
...

At 201 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing funnel clouds near Gautier, or near Moss Point,
moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds and winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...If a funnel cloud briefly touches down, minor damage to
         outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down
         tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Ocean Springs, Moss Point, and Gautier.

This includes Interstate 10 in Mississippi near mile marker 66.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in New Orleans.
