At 430 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Ramah, or 12 miles west of Plaquemine, moving
northwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Maringouin, Rosedale, Grosse Tete, and Ramah.
This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 128 and
139.
