Mississippi Sound... * Until 930 AM CDT. * At 803 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts was located along a line extending from near Pass Christian to 14 nm west of Cat Island to 10 nm east of Rigolets. The cluster of severe thunderstorms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include...
