* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 617 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms was located along
  a line extending from near Pass Christian to 15 nm southwest of
  Farewell Buoy, moving south at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar and Mesonet station at KSHI measured a peak gust of
           40 knots .

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cat Island, Ship Island, Chandeleur Sound, and Pass Christian.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
