The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Mississippi Sound...
  Chandeleur Sound...
  Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20
  NM...

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 838 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located near Long Beach, moving northwest at 5
  knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ship Island, Mississippi Sound, Ocean Springs, Horn Island, Cat
  Island, Biloxi, Pascagoula, Long Beach, Pass Christian, Bay St.
  Louis and Waveland.
