* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm...
  Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island
  Louisiana out 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 630 AM CST.

* At 535 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 54 nm southeast of Southwest Pass Of the
  Mississippi River, moving east at 50 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
           vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
           Boats could suffer signifficant structual damage in high
           winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher
           waves.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dangerous high winds and suddenly higher waves are expected! Seek
