* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA
  out 20 nm...
  Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to Lower Atchafalaya
  River LA from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 751 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms was located along
  a line extending from 6 nm south of Isle Derniers to 21 nm south of
  Terrebonne Bay to 14 nm south of Timbalier Island, moving south at
  20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

  SOURCE...KOYE Buoy reported gust to 42 knots.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Isle Derniers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
Service.
