The National Weather Service office in New Orleans LA will conduct a storm survey this afternoon near the cities of Wade, Big Point and Hurley in Jackson County Mississippi. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area yesterday, on April 6th 2025. An initial assessment should be complete later today, with full results to follow in a Public Information Statement once analysis is complete.
