At 917 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This
cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending
from Timbalier Island to 62 nm east of Pilottown, moving east at 15
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.

Intense lightning is occurring with some of these storms. If caught
on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from
ungrounded metal objects.
