Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River out 20 nm... Coastal Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island Louisiana out 20 to 60 NM... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... At 1237 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots, weak waterspouts and small hail. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 27 nm southeast of Chandeleur Sound, moving south at 15 knots. Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher waves, small hail and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.
