A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to Lower Atchafalaya
  River LA from 20 to 60 NM...
  Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
  Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM...

At 850 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located 49 nm south of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port,
or 57 nm south of Timbalier Island, moving east at 10 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, small hail and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should
seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.
