...A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm...
  Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
  Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM...

At 536 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This
cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 28 nm south of
Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, moving southwest at 10
knots.

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
