A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

  Mississippi Sound...

At 116 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of strong
thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Pass
Christian to 8 nm southeast of Yscloskey, moving east at 15 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
