500 FNUS74 KLIX 222157 FWSLIX Spot Forecast for G-15 C+S RX...USFWS National Weather Service New Orleans LA 457 PM CDT Thu May 22 2025 If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. We can be reached at (985) 649-0357 if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION...A very summer like pattern will persist through tomorrow night at the prescribed burn site. Tonight will see some decent RH recovery, but winds just off the surface will stay strong enough to prohibit fog formation from occurring. Winds will also shift through the night as a land breeze develops with northerly winds in place from around 3 to 4 am through the mid-morning hours tomorrow. By late morning another seabreeze will develop and winds shift back to the south by midday. Winds will also increase in speed as the seabreeze intensifies through the afternoon hours. Fortunately, conditions are not favorable for any thunderstorm activity to develop at the burn site tomorrow. 1. Fog is not expected to develop at the burn site tonight. 2. There is a 100% chance of a seabreeze developing tomorrow. The seabreeze will develop in the late morning and pass through the burn site by Noon. 3. There is no frontal passage expected and thunderstorms are not forecast to occur at the burn site tomorrow. .TONIGHT... Sky/weather.........Mostly clear (10-20 percent).
