.DISCUSSION...
Dense Fog advisory is in effect through tonight.
High pressure parked centered just to the east will remain in
place through early next week. Surface winds will remain from a
southerly direction, which is helping more low level moisture to
filter into the region from the Gulf, albeit gradual. Relative
humidity values will increase into the weekend. Higher RH values
and light surface flow will limit fire weather concerns from that
stand point as min RH`s should be around 50%. Conditions also
look more favorable for areas of fog to develop tonight through
Saturday night. The fog could turn moderate to dense toward
sunrise each day over portions of Southern Mississippi and inland
areas of Southeast Louisiana. It should be noted that superfog is
possible any areas that fog does develop.
