.DISCUSSION...
Winds have been relaxing throughout this morning as a surface
high builds into the area behind the low pressure that was in the
Gulf. We will see a weak shot of cooler and slightly drier area
lasting about 24 hours or so before we begin to see both
temperatures and moisture begin to moderate a touch on Wednesday.
The next system will bring another round of showers and maybe a
few embedded thunderstorms Thursday. Rain is expected to move in
early Thursday and could plague the area off and on through
Friday until the sfc low/trough finally moves east into the
northeastern Gulf and southeastern CONUS. Due to much of the area
seeing at least some rain yesterday and even overnight and no
real surge of drier air and then rain returning Thursday, fire
weather concerns will be zero.
