Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
134 PM CST Tue Feb 4 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Persistent southerly flow from the Gulf will lead to higher
humidity levels through the week. This increase in humidity
will also support more fog development each night this week. Areas
of light fog is the most likely with dense fog more isolated in
nature. Winds to remain quite light with surface ridge not far to
the east of the region. Rainfall will be very limited with the
only threat of scattered light rain on Wednesday. Rainfall
amounts will generally be less than a tenth of an inch.
