Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
121 PM CDT Thu Jul 3 2025

Fog development will not be a concern across the area tonight
into tomorrow morning. A drier pattern associated with a high
pressure system over the area will remain in place through
Saturday. Minimum RH values will decrease to between 40 and 50
percent through the end of the week. For next week, winds will
shift back to the south and this will allow for a return of
scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late morning and
afternoon hours. Minimum RH values will also increase
to 55 to 65 percent on the back of the southerly flow.
