Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
426 PM CDT Fri Aug 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A fairly typical Summer pattern of widely scattered pop up
showers and thunderstorms will persist through the weekend and
into next week. RH values will remain well above any critical
thresholds and winds will remain light through the period. Patchy
light fog may develop Saturday morning across Southwest
Mississippi, but fog is not expected to be a concern across the
remainder of the region.
