Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
329 PM CDT Sat Oct 19 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A dry high pressure system will remain over the area through
the end of next week. This will keep minimum RH values low
through the period with values of 25 to 35 percent through
Monday and 35 to 45 percent for the latter half of the week.
Winds will be generally from the east and northeast, but are
not expected to rise high enough to produce critical fire
conditions.
