Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1234 AM CDT Sun Jun 29 2025

Daily mainly late morning to evening rain chances will persist
this into the middle to later parts of the workweek. Moisture
levels remain high enough to keep minimum RH values in the 50 to
60 percent range, with generally light winds outside of any
thunderstorm activity. Daily seabreeze/lakebreeze boundaries can
be expected near coastal areas, allowing for wind shifts to
follow. Rain chances may diminish slightly going toward the
holiday weekend, but still in the 30 to 50% range each afternoon.
