Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
310 PM CST Thu Nov 21 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Drier and cooler air has moved into the area and will remain over
the area through the first half of the weekend. Min RH values
will be in the 30-40% range tomorrow. Winds should remain on the
lighter side through the weekend. Combine that with the recent
rainfall and dangerous fire weather conditions are not
anticipated. Return flow set up the second half of the weekend
bringing generally southerly winds and moisture will begin to
return with an increase in RH and rain chances early next week.
