Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
244 PM CDT Thu Apr 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Moderate to strong southeasterly flow will continue into the
weekend. This will help maintain a steady flow of low level
moisture. Despite gusty winds, RH values will remain well
above critical thresholds with no critical fire weather
concerns through the remainder of the workweek. Rain return late
Saturday and could persist into Sunday with locally heavy rain
a concern.
