Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
121 PM CST Sat Feb 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A surface low will move eastward from the western Gulf just south
of our region through the day Sunday. This will be enough to generate
widespread showers across the region. On the backside of the low
slightly drier conditions will filter into the region to start the new
workweek. However, RH and winds will stay above critical thresholds
through the period.
