National Weather Service New Orleans LA
538 PM CDT Mon Jun 8 2026

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will remain in control of the area for the next
several days, with an ongoing deep Gulf onshore flow regime in
place. Mainly isolated shower/storm chances today through
Thursday, but chances increase later in the week into the
upcoming weekend. Otherwise, daily MinRH range in the 40-50%
range can be expected during peak mixing/diurnal heating each
day.
