Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
301 PM CDT Wed Aug 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Tropical rich environment will remain in place even as high
pressure slowly builds into the region from the east. Scattered
storms will be possible each day. Min RH values will only drop
into the 50 and 60% range with generally light winds. With that
there are no fire weather concerns at this time.
