Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
214 PM CST Fri Feb 21 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Much colder and drier air will stick around through
the day tomorrow. Relative humidity values this afternoon and
Saturday afternoon will range from 25 to 35 percent in most
areas, especially north of I-10/12 during the afternoon hours.
Winds will gradually decrease this afternoon as high pressure
moves into the region this afternoon. Moisture and rain
return to the area temporarily Sunday before the dry, but
warmer air moves back in for next week.
