Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
122 PM CDT Fri Sep 4 2026

.DISCUSSION...

High coverage of afternoon showers and thunderstorms will
continue through the upcoming holiday weekend. Considering the
high coverage of convection as well as high afternoon relative
humidity values and lackluster winds, no critical fire weather
concerns through the forecast period.
