Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1128 AM CST Sat Nov 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...

This weekend and into early next week, a series of low pressure
systems and fronts will bring higher rain chances to the area.
Rain chances will be highest tonight into Sunday morning and
again Monday into Monday night as these low pressure systems pass
by. The heaviest rainfall amounts will be likely across northwest
portions of the area. Rain chances will briefly end on Tuesday
and Wednesday as a drier high pressure system moves in, but
another storm system could bring higher rain chances back to the
area on Thursday and Friday. Humidity levels will remain well
above any critical values through the end of next week.
