Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1128 AM CST Fri Dec 5 2025

.DISCUSSION...

We will remain in a generally wet pattern through the weekend
with light to moderate rain over those days. We will finally
begin to dry out Sunday night as another cold front moves through
with high pressure building in early next week. With the wet
soils and abundant moisture in place min RH`s will remain at or
abv 75% for the entire area through Sunday. This will keep fire
weather concerns near 0.
