Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
438 PM CST Thu Dec 4 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Moisture has returned to the area today as a weak area of low
pressure moves across coastal Louisiana. Persistent high rain
chances will continue through Saturday and then gradually taper
off into Sunday. This will remove any fire weather concerns
during this period. Thereafter, a frontal passage on Monday will
gradually drop Min RH back into the 40s and 50s into midweek next
week.
