Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
333 PM CST Sat Nov 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will remain over the area through tomorrow with light
winds and clear skies. The high will shift to the east by Monday
and winds will increase from the south. A weak front will dissipate
over the area Monday night, and high pressure will build back in for
Tuesday and Wednesday. A much stronger cold front is expected to
push through on Thanksgiving day with increased rain chances. Behind
the front, a cold high pressure system will move in with gusty north
winds and lower humidity for Friday.
