Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1128 PM CST Mon Nov 10 2025

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure is moving into the region, which is helping
decrease winds across the region this morning. Relative Humidity
values in the upper 20 percent range north of I10/12 will still
be possible this afternoon, however, the lackluster winds will
limit critical fire weather concerns. As the high pressure slides
east later this week, southerly winds will allow RH values to
improve. By the weekend, another low pressure system will bring
slightly higher rain chances to the area.
