.DISCUSSION...
Dry, continental air remains in place supported and dominated by
a ridge of high pressure across the area. Expecting another day
of strong afternoon mixing, promoting minRH`s in the 30`s for
along/north of the I-10/12 corridor to low 30`s /upper 20`s for
northern areas including SW MS, northshore and interior coastal
SE MS. Moisture increases going into Tuesday resulting in minRH`s
rising into the 40`s to 50`s, and remains elevated thru the week.
Isolated to scattered rain chances return back to the area
Friday, but coverage will be limited with only isolated thunder
potential. KLG
