Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1226 PM CDT Mon Sep 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The region will remain mostly dry through the next seven days,
but cannot rule out isolated storms during the afternoon hours
later in the week. High pressure will continue to dominate the
region keeping winds on the lighter side with directions
influenced by daily sea/land breezes. Expect to see gradual
moisture recovery beginning Tuesday, though minimum relative
humidity in a few places could still drop to just below 40%. No
significant fog threats.
