Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
356 PM CST Sun Nov 24 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A weak front will move into the area tomorrow night bringin a
chance of wetting rains to northern and western portions of the
area. Dry weather is expected to persist for most coastal
locations. Winds will remain light and humidity well above
critical levels through mid-week. Later in the week, a
stronger front will bring drier conditions and higher northwest
winds to the area on Friday. A reinforcing front over the
weekend will keep the northerly flow and lower humidity in
place.
