Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
626 PM CDT Sun Aug 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Isolated to scattered daily showers and storms are expected
through the middle of the work week with the best chances in
coastal areas. More numerous showers and storms are forecast for
late in the week as a weak frontal boundary stalls near or just
north of the area. RH values will remain well above any critical
thresholds and winds will remain light through the period. Fog is
not expected to be a concern across the region tonight.
