...The National Weather Service in New Orleans LA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Louisiana...Mississippi...

  Pearl River Near Bogalusa affecting Pearl River County in
  Mississippi and Washington
  Parish in Louisiana

For the Lower Pearl River...including Bogalusa, Pearl River...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT TO SUNDAY,
FEBRUARY 9TH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa.

* WHEN...From late Monday night to Sunday, February 9th.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river
  will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be
  inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CST Sunday the stage was 16.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue rising to a crest of 19.0
    feet early Wednesday afternoon. The river is expected to fall
    below flood stage Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
