* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Hancock County in southern Mississippi...
Southwestern Harrison County in southern Mississippi...
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1040 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
in the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Long Beach, Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Pass Christian, Diamondhead,
Shoreline Park and Kiln.
